Earning plus convenience at home.

Working as a virtual assistant is very common nowadays. A lot of people want to try this career. Why? Virtual Assistant is one of the most flexible job you can ever find, whether you are in a park, in a beach or wherever you are in the world as long as you have a stable internet connection, this will work for you. (Hope you are not planning to visit Mars though.) Not to mention the additional quality time you can give to your family. You can enjoy a work from home set up. Earning at your convenience indeed.

Is It Hard to Become A Virtual Assistant?

Typical question for those who want to join this profession are, is it easy to become a VA? To get a job? The answer will depend on how determined you are to become a Virtual Assistant. So you decide it yourself. But to help you with it, here are the things you need to know on how to become a VA.

1. Stable internet connection - basic, we don't want to leave a client in the middle of a meeting due to poor internet connection (unlike your crush who keeps on ghosting you! We don't need that here.)

2. Mid - range to high - end laptop or desktop - so that you can keep up with the new application you need in work (don't settle for less girl, set your standards high HAHA)

3. High quality headphones - enables to cancel all unnecessary noise during the meetings (those headphones where you can cancel irrelevant people.)

4. High quality webcam - you don't want your client to see you in a grainy pixelated texture (so you can clearly see what you are to him/her.)

5. Quiet environment

Is that all? No, not really but were almost there. (don't give up just yet unlike him who easily gave up on you!)

Becoming a VA does not only need the best gadget in the market, we also need to develop skills for us to get hired. (We develop skills not feelings, arraseo?)

1.Be courageous to learn new things - do not be afraid to commit mistakes, it's part of growing up, just forgive yourself if you have chosen the wrong person in the past, opps! I mean, if you have clicked the incorrect function. We can undo our mistakes so, don't worry!

2. Familiarize Microsoft office and other Google applications - (Use application, do not use people.)

3. Be organize - you need to learn how to organize your email accounts.

4. Be resourceful - there are a lot of tutorials in YT where you can learn a lot on how to become a VA or you can enroll yourself at FVA Academy just like me.

5. Never underestimate yourself - when I started with the coaching, I was so hesitant. I never thought I can even survive all the trainings but look at me now, already in my Coaching Session 12. Phew! It was never easy, but it was all worth it.

Is Having Computer Skills Enough To Be A Virtual Assistant?

Hmmm, can be. But the real questions are, are you not timid? Are you confident to apply for jobs? Can you pass interview with clients? We also need to consider these things. We need to be resilient in facing hardships and obstacles we can possibly encounter. Sometimes, we need to apply to multiple employers before getting hired. But don't lose hope. As they say, "best things in life don't come easy, but those things are the ones worth the sacrifice."

So, to answer the question, Virtual Assistant, is it really for me? Of course! With all the effort that I have exerted , the stress and struggles I have faced. Now is not the time to give up! I may be shy, but this will not hinder me to become one of the top - rated VA a client can find.

I guess by now, you already know who's the VA you need to contact if you need one. I have ready here my resume and proposal link. Thank you!
